Simulation
techniques for
construction
are used by GEODECO to verify the feasibility of the theoretical
solutions. Simulation embodies the principle of "learning by
doing". In order to investigate the possible evolution of a
complex system, like a construction process, we must first build a
model of the process and then, by means of a simulator engine,
operate it. The results of the simulation will allow to forecast the
progress of the work at every time interval with indication of the
work done, resources allocated as well as the variation of other
significant parameters.
