State-of-the-art
methodologies and software are used for probabilistic seismic hazard
analyses (PSHA) and damage analyses (PSDA), site response and
liquefaction studies. Our PSHA software disaggregates the seismic
hazard at each level of ground shaking to provide the most likely
earthquake scenario for further engineering studies. The PSHA procedure
adopted by GEODECO is capable of handling multiple hypotheses on the
input seismicity parameters (e.g., location of faults, alternative
attenuation laws, magnitude recurrence models and maximum magnitude for
each source) via a logic tree approach.
Our
procedure represents the state-of-the-art in seismic hazard assessment
and provides the most accurate and realistic ground motion hazard
prediction at the surface of a particular soil and at a particular site.
