eRiskZone and the Seismic Regulations

At present the online system of eRiskZone was developed for the Italian territory only, for demonstration purposes. Therefore a comparison between the results of the online system and the Italian code requirements for each specific area of the country is presented in the system output. In addition, when selecting the site location on the map the user will be able to identify immediately the seismic zone established by the code for each municipality.  While the relationship between the information provided in this portal and the requirements of the Italian code is discussed in further detail in the Italian version of this portal, it is worth mentioning that a similar approach could be adopted for other countries, keeping into account both local codes and international norms.
