Our
procedure is capable of handling multiple hypotheses on the
input
seismicity parameters (e.g., location of faults, magnitude recurrence
models and maximum magnitude for each source) via a logic
tree
approach. Both planar sources (i.e., faults) and volumetric sources
(i.e., “seismotectonic provinces” or background
seismicity sources) can
be used. As an additional feature also disaggregation in
magnitude and source-to-site distance for the identification
of
potential earthquake scenarios that control the hazard at each site can
be provided.
